    Edit parametric BIM objects with focus is creating different design option and bidirectional connection with Autodesk Revit.

    Follow the progress of the model, compare between different versions and restore partially or totally any previous version.

    Access to the breakdown structure of the project models, with direct graphical control of categories, worksets, phases, levels and layers.

    Any change is synchronized online and available to any other project team members, and multiple users can work simultaneously in the same project.

    Automatic generation of persons with variable occupancy density and photo realistic or editable abstract representation.

  • Graphical settings

    Fully configurable graphical effects, ambient and direct light, curve tonality and abstract representation (edges visible and flat colors).

  • Fast performance

    RETIMA is tweaked for fast performance with large architectural models, with a fluid frame rate of 60 frames/second using middle class GPUs.

  • Project location

    Set the project location using Google Maps with accurate sun position accordingly to the time zone and daylight saving time.

  • Instant renders

    Make high quality renders that are instantaneous (1080p) or just a few seconds (8K), with custom resolution until 10000x10000px.

  • Presentation presets

    Any configuration of point of view, time and date, graphical settings or model state in the project browser can be saved as a new UI button.

Smart placement.

Place objects in relation to floors, ceilings or walls.

  • Use the placement gizmos to point anywhere to the floor or ceiling, while maintaining the same relative height to the floor or ceiling.

  • Use the properties panel to set the numerical height above the floor, under the ceiling or the distance offset from a wall.

  • Use placement helpers to center the objects in relation to element pointed.

Manage different design options.

Create easily groups of design options:

  • Add new options and assign objects to the options with simple drag and drop.

  • Each option become a UI button to easily switch between options.

 

Edit parametric objects

Modify the type parameters graphically with the shape gizmos, or numerically with direct input in the properties of the object.

  • The editable objects are defined internally as parametric BIM objects.

  • Use the available Revit plugin for bidirectional connection when using editable objects.

The editable parametric objects and the bidirectional connection with Revit in Reflect projects is currently in development.

Objects libraries

Custom projects (use as project service) have assigned libraries of editable parametric BIM objects.

  • The editable and parametric behavior of the objects is developed depending of the requirements of the projects.

  • Possibility of connection with existing objects libraries.

The use of the libraries of editable objects in Reflect projects is currently in development.

Check the models included in the project when using complex federated models via Unity Reflect.

Save the current state of the protect browser with all the custom graphical adjustments as a new preset.

  • Each preset become a new UI button for direct restore of the configuration of the preset.

Full featured and easy to adjust graphical quality with great performance for large architectural models.

 

Global adjustments for performance.

The internal resolution can be changed at any time:

  • Lower the resolution for a more fluid framerate with low performance GPUs.

  • Make oversampling for a sharper look with high performance GPUs.

The graphical effects can be globally disabled, independently of the individual adjustment of each effect.

 

Direct and simple control of all graphical effects.

Each graphical effect (known as post processing effects) is fully adjustable with a simple slider.

From ambient occlusion to volumetric light, including high quality sun flares, all graphical effects can be tuned fast and easily.

 

Lighting intensity and tonality.

The direct and ambient light intensity can be adjusted separately.

The color and contrast tonality can be easily adjusted via slider. From a flat and soft tonality to a stronger contrast and saturation.

 

Project location.

Set the project location in Google Maps, for accurate sun position according to the time zone (UTC offset) and daylight saving time (DST offset).

Use the North compensation slider if the model vertical Y axis is not aligned with the geographical North direction.

 

Date and time with animated time simulation.

Set the date and time with accurate sun position according the the project location.

Activate the animated time simulation with two different speeds.

 

Configurable sky.

Adjust the cloudiness level of the sky, with responsive tonality accordingly to the moment of the day.

 

People representation.

Set the occupancy density and activate people representation for automatic generation of persons:

  • System optimized for representation of hundreds or thousands people in large spaces.

  • Choose photo realistic or abstract representation with editable color.

 

Abstract representation.

Set visibility of the edges with adjustable color and transparency.

Set separately the foreground and background flat colors to be blended with the realistic representation.

 

Save your settings as presentation presets.

Save your favorite configurations of time and date or graphical settings as presets:

  • Each preset become a new UI button for direct call of the configuration of the preset.

  • The presets are fully editable: they can be renamed, updated, deleted and the position in the group changed.

  • Any preset can be set as default when opening the model.

 

Instant renders.

Make high quality instant renders.

  • Use one of the 6 predefinied resolutions (HD, FHD, QHD, 4K, 6K and 8K) or custom resolution until 10000x10000px.

  • Until FHD resolution , the renders are typically less than a second, with only a few seconds for 4K and higher resolutions.

The renders are processed separately of the real time, with internal oversampling of the final resolution and higher quality in most graphical effects.
